Product listings may include photographs, descriptions, transmission identification codes, mileage information, specifications, pricing and general compatibility information. These details are provided to help customers evaluate the merchandise.
We reserve the right to correct listing errors involving pricing, specifications, inventory information or product descriptions when discovered.
Final compatibility is the customer’s responsibility.
Before placing an order, the customer should verify all applicable vehicle information, including:
- Year
- Make
- Model
- Engine
- Drivetrain
- VIN
- Transmission code
- Part number
- Production information
- Electrical connection configuration
Two transmissions can appear nearly identical while using different electronics, software, gear ratios, connectors or internal components.
Providing a VIN can assist with identification but does not replace the customer’s responsibility to confirm that the transmission being ordered matches the original unit.
Every transmission should be inspected before installation and installed by a qualified automotive or transmission technician.
Installation may require procedures including:
- Correct transmission fluid and fluid level procedure
- Replacement of applicable seals and filters
- Cleaning or flushing cooler lines
- Inspection or replacement of the torque converter
- Computer programming
- Module coding
- Adaptation resets
- Relearn procedures
We are not responsible for failures or operating problems resulting from improper installation, contaminated fluid, restricted cooler lines, overheating, incorrect programming, electrical issues, vehicle modifications, abuse, racing, excessive towing or failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation procedures.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in an individual product listing, accessories or components that are not shown or described as included should not be assumed to come with the transmission.
